Newly engaged and not knowing where to begin

Hey all brides to be-

My name is Christine and I am new to this posting in a forum idea. I got engaged on the 15th of May this year and am overwhelmed already in planning. We got engaged at Dreams La Romana in the DR and are looking into doing a destination wedding either next March or May at Dreams Tulum. Any help is greatly appreciated, suggestions and tips especially. So far I have found some very helpful info through this forum. Looking forward to any help.

Congrats! This forum has been a lifesaver so far and you are going to love it to! It sounds like you have the resort picked but do you have a date? We are getting married in January and we do not have our resort booked b/c there aren't any prices out yet. We have been told that we should be able to book by mid-July. Just start by getting the big things out of the way- resort and any AHR stuff that you are doing, if you are. Then start talking with the Wedding Coordinator from the resort. I think there should be a Dreams Tulum forum which should help you out a ton. Good luck!
