program fans Napa style

so instead of the traditional fan shape, we decided to go with ovals (we found a stencil & its the shape of a grape-I know that's reaching, but I thought it worked)

 

What do you all think about the colors on the front and back, my FI, Will likes having both colors on each fan, I am not sure if I should just do some in all green and some in all burgandy.

 

I just got a new camera so a few of the pics did not turn out well, sorry, I am trying to get used to it before the big day!

Christine, they look great!! How long does it take to make them?

 

Personally, I think I'd do the front and back the same colour, although in the zoomed in pictures it's easy to see how you've tied the colours in, so it's not like it'd look odd if you left it that way.

well I have been printing since last night and now that the printing is done we will start the assembly line of cutting them out and then hole punching, then we'll put them together...I wish I could say it was a quick project, but wednesday is my last day of work until August 26th or something like that so I have plenty of time to lose weight, make programs, and all my other DIY projects.

Christine I think they came out great! I think the colors tie together well, but I would probably do all burgundy and all green.

Ya, that's good that you have that time off for your DIY projects and everything else... just don't leave it until the last minute. lol, I know that's what I'd do. I'd think, "oh, I have all of this time... I'll do it next week" and before you know it, it's the week before the wedding and you're rushing around doing DIY projects!! But, by the sounds of it (and your "assembly line"), you've got some help!

I really like your colors, however I would do the same color on the cover pages. It looks a little weird being one of each color.

 

Other than that, I think they are really cute!

Those look amazing!! I would do one colour per fan though and maybe just make half one colour half the other?
