Newbie Confusion!

Hey ladies!

I have been reading some threads and had a questions and couldn't find anything under the search. I also didnt know where to post this question but felt this was appropriate! I've always had trouble with searching within forums Well my question is can someone tell me what all the acronyms mean,that some people use!? uhm i got what DW was hhehe but um like STD? is that save the date? and i think I saw FI? or something close to that.

I know ther is a list some whenre but not sure. As far as I can tell STD is save the date, and FI is finance. But theree are others that I just scratch my head at.
