This is a great idea Stephanie!! Thanks so much for posting. I knew I did not want the "traditional" guest book (BORING!!) and have been trying to come up with other alternatives!! I love this idea! Thanks again!

I love the book, Stephanie!

I've done something similar before for a friend, and for those of you who might not have a lot of time, you can just do the part where the guest signs, and assemble later. That's the way we did it for my friend's wedding. I had the "wish" parts cut, took pictures of the couples at the wedding, then put it together for her later.

Stephanie, that looks great!!! I might need your help next year if you stick around... that's such a great idea, it's so perfect!

So, with 9 people, are you going to have a guestbook attendant or just leave it out and hope everyone signs?

:) I knew we'd have someone move in for the DIY crown! You're so creative, your projects constantly blow me away... they're so creative and look fantastic. I still can't get over the door hanger thingies... SO cool!!! cheesy.gif

Hey - I don't know about moving in for the DIY crown, I have just waited to show everything until the last minute. :-) But thank you very much, your comments make me smile.

We have 16 guests for the wedding, and each couple will get a page, or we have 2 individuals, so they will each get a page. I am torn between placing them on a table of their own, or actually having them at their spaces on the dining table. I really want them to have a spot of their own - of course with the little "poem" that floats around the knot all the time...

From each of your experiences,
Comes a very treasured gift,
A piece of knowledge,
We didn’t know exists.

Please share with us your
Wisdom,
About marriage, love, and life,
How to be a loving husband,
Or the perfect wife.

Please write your
Thoughts and wishes
To share with us for life
For the greatest gift of all,
Is the gift of your advice.

If I do them at the placemats, each spot will get a copy of the poem.

Oh yea, and I forgot - everybody will sign, I've got 1 guest assigned to take the picture of each couple/person for on the page. This picture will then be mailed to them with the Thank You card for coming to the wedding..

Stephanie,

Those are great pages...I am a scrapbooker and I was planning on doing something like that too. I will never look back at a regular guest book. So are you just bringing the loose pages and then will put them into the album when you get home....?
