My first DIY project and many more to come. I had so much fun doing these, but didn't expect it to take as much time as it did. Thank you to one of you BDW brides for the wording I borrowed. I will try to pay more attention to names as I will borrow more ideas.

I got most of the supplies: the bottle, sand, seashells, and box for a great price from:

Message Bottles

I bought the brads, paper, and a paper trimmer from local craft stores and used 40% coupons.

I made 22 of these and my cost per bottle was $3.00. I hand delivered the ones that were super close to me and mailed out the other 11 for $2.41 per box.

I just signed up for a photobucket account and hope my pictures show up!

Girl, those are great!

I, too will be doing these...just waiting to secure the date before starting. I lovvvveeeeee your poem. If you don't mind, me thinks I will use it too.

How much sand did you use per bottle. I found sandartsupplies 2 weeks ago and I am itching to order my bottles. By the way, the ones mailed, did they make it in one piece? Kinda worried. I was going to bubble wrap mine, but yours look better with the paper.

What size paper did you use? And did you get the plastic or glass?

Great job!

Evelyn
