Yet another Newb !!

hi all, obviously I'm new to the forum and looking forward to finding some info here. My finace joined a couple of days ago so i joined to keep an eye on her and make sure the right questions are being asked lol !! Anyway we are planning to get wed in April of 2010 at one of the Gran Bahia Principes in Mexico. A few questions we have is how do we get this started ?? who to call ? can we book a date so far in advance without having our trip booked yet ? so mnay questions. thanks in advance for all your help !!
