Diff btn symbolic and legal cerermony

I think FI and I are leaning towards legal ceremony back home then symbolic in Mexico, but as Megan suggested, keep it on the hush-hush and not tell anyone!

what jodj says is true... i believe there are some resorts that don't require you have a legal marriage license before you do a symbolic ceremony, so if that is something that you are set on doing i'd definitely check with wedding coordinators at the different resorts to make sure they can accomodate you.
