Has anyone done DIY Engagment Pics?

I also have a friend who loves taking pics who asked if she can do ours. She isnt charging us anything we will just pay to get them developed. I so think its worth it.

We didn't do professional Engagement pics either. I agree with everyone, have a friend do it or something. I think that's what I'll do, get my sister to take a couple nice shots. I'm not really using them for anything.

Hi,

I am planning on doing this as well. I have a folder of engagemant pics I liked from others. I am going to go to NC to visit my BF and she is going to take them on the beach. I have a pretty good digital camera so we are just going to use that. I can't see spending all that money on awkward poses in a seeting that is not the beach and I can't afford to fly a photog down with us. So, my bf will have to do. The nice thing about digital is you can take 500 pictures and you are bound to get a couple nice ones!

We used a pic of us from someone elses wedding (lol) and we put it in the paper as our engagement photo. It looks like you have some great suggestions - good luck!
