I'm sorry you even had to go through that stress and heartache of not knowing where the heck your book went but SO GLAD it was found safe, even if your lady neighbor was a unhelpful moron, lol. You ladies are just too cute! LOL...

It was sooo hard to maintain my composure when Tony asked me if there were naked pics in the box. If the floor could've opened up into a large sinkhole I definitely would've climbed right in!!

I literally had to not look at him when I said no, because I was afraid he'd see the truth in my face. So when he asked, I kinda just moved my eyes...I'm telling you, that part was not expected...and yeah, its amazing that I didn't turn red!!!

 

Oh, I never told DH what was in the package....so the secret is still safe & he is clueless about the BD pics. Trust me, it was hard as hell, but since I was able to vent to all of you, it definitely helped!

I don't know how you ladies who took BD pics manage to keep it a secret until the wedding, especially those of you who take pics like 3 months before!! My hat's off to you for sure!!!

 

So, he'll get the album when we return to Jamaica in 2 weeks (YAY, the countdown is on).

After I give him the album, then I can finally tell him that I was stressed the hell out over the package cuz the package was the album & disc.

 

The one thing I haven't figured out is when & how I'm gonna give him the album. Since we're not traveling with a photographer like we did for the wedding, I'm also trying to figure out how I can catch the expression on his face when he opens it.

(And isn't that tragic, don't you think we should all be able to travel with photographers while on vacation?? Who else is gonna capture all of your shots when its just the 2 of you? Could you imagine LOL)

 

Since there are a group of us going, I was thinking of asking my BFF to come to our room & take his pic as he opens it. My BFF is the only person going on the trip who already knows about the pics so I won't feel uncomfortable with her there just to capture the moment.

Ofcourse she'll have to act like she's there for some other reason, but thats the only idea I can come up with, unless I try to take the pic myself?

 

What do you guys think? When & how do I do the "presentation"? We'll be there for 5 days total & not that this really means anything but our 1 year, 2 month anniv would be on our 2nd day there.

i totally agree... what are we supposed to do when we go on vacation and there isn't a professional there to capture all of the fun and beauty?!

 

i am so bad at coming up with surprise things, but if it were me i would definitely want to see the reaction on FI's face first-hand and make sure i got the perfect shot of his expression! if you'd rather be out of the room and see what he thought later i'd definitely havea friend to drop it off to him while conveniently hiding a camera to catch what he does!

I just found this thread now Yolanda. OMG I can't even imagine how upset I'd be if the same thing happened to mine (and you've seen mine!) .

 

What a dork asking you if there were naked pictures in there! lol I think your hug must have turned him on! At least he was nice enough to go and check the building next door. Kind of odd the lady wanted to wait to give it back to him...we received a package the other day for the wrong apartment number so I made my husband take it to the correct apartment on his way back to work. He wanted to just give it back to the UPS guy the next time. LOL

 

As for presenting the album to your husband I'm rather stumped on this one. i was definitely not original. what if you left it underneath something, like a blanket, nightie with the edge peeking out? Would he be curious enough to check and see what it was? Other than that I'm at a loss.
