I checked with my friend who was married in Maui and she did use a private wedding planner, but said she would not recommend her. However, if you're looking for a photographer, she HIGHLY recommended Monique Feil (she's on Facebook if that helps). From the photos I saw they were amazing and she said Monique was reasonably priced and provided all the photos on DVD after the wedding.

I have a friend that is starting a wedding planning business, but she is based out of Kauai. But - I am sure she would at least love to help answer whatever questions she could. PM me if you want her email address.
