I am looking for information regarding resorts on Cozumel.

Is anyone getting married at any of the resorts? I have recieved some information from the Iberostar but am looking at the Melia as well as the Wyndham.

We are looking to have a beautiful venue but keep costs low as well (isn't everyone smile29.gif )

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I'm getting married in Cozumel as well, but we are going to stay at the Cozumel Palace.  They offer a free ceremony as well as a $1500 resort credit.  My husband and I go to Cozumel every year and our first trip we stayed at the Melia. It was ok! The Cozumeleno blows it out of the water and I believe is a little cheaper if you use funjet.com.  In fact, if my husband weren't such a diva, I'd be staying at the Cozumeleno for our wedding and just paying to get married elsewhere.

I am strongly considering Cozumel Palace for my wedding in July, did you enjoy your experience? Was it mostly private?  Most importantly for my fiance, was there good food?

We'll have about 20-30 people, will the area accommodate that size of group?

Thank you so much for any advice you may be able to provide!!!

Hi,

Have you had your wedding at Cozumel Palace now? Did you like the wedding coordinator onsite? How did you think the actual amenities for your wedding matched up to what they quoted you ahead of time?

Thanks for any advice you may have :)

I'm getting married in Cozumel too. We will be staying Cozumel Palace, but the wedding will be off site at Mr. Sanchos. They have a great beach there, and after sundown you can have their entire restaurant area for your reception (they close it to the public). I'm working with Cozumel Wedding Planners and they have been great!
