what did you girls say to get them to apply the coupon?
I ordered it over the phone because I'd locked myself our of my account online with Macys. The woman at first said the same, explaining I couldn't use the coupon because it was considered electronics. I told her "a friend" did it online and it worked without a problem. I really didn't know that it had, just assumed it had worked for others based upon this thread. She went ahead and applied the 20% off.

But my friend who ordered hers online after I purchased mine had the same thing happen, it wouldn't let her use the coupon code online. She ordered it anyway and was going to call this morning and get the additional amount deducted. I'm not sure if they did it or not for her, I haven't spoke to her today.

the ball is GREAT. we got ours from bed bath and used the 20% off coupon. the advantage there is that after your dyson warranty expires, you can return it at BB&B ANYTIME for a brand new one, even if you are the reason it broke! hehe.

we've already returned one and gotten a new one because the pole sometimes had issues going back down into the hose. turns out this is common.

like a horny dude...once erect, it had a hard time going back down. oh man, i had to say that. sorry ladies. S&M.gif

i think part of the reason I really don't like the ball is cause we have mostly hard wood floors and just flops around, maybe it would be better on all carpet.

Sears also allows us to return our whenever for a new one if you have any issues, even if you just don't like it!

I just ordered it. After calling 4 times, I finally got someone who placed the order for me- although said that the total still came out to $295 (including shipping and tax) and that the 20% off is credited back through the credit dept. later. So who knows if it will actually get credited back, but I went ahead and got it anyway. I had a giftcard which I was able to apply towards it, so my total came to $236.44. Not sure why I just bought it- other than I have wanted a Dyson for sooo long- but I just got a vacuum a couple of years ago, so wasn't really "looking" to buy another!

BTW, Macy's told me their return policy for this is only 180 days. I'm now worried if something happens after that I can't return it. Do you think Sears or Bed, Bath and Beyond are better for that reasonhuh.gif Maybe I'm just having buyers remorse... : )
