First of all I would just like to thank everyone on this forum- if it wasn't for BDW I wouldn't have found my AMAZING photographer! I entered and won a contest right before the New Year from Michael Wachniak. Let me just say, him and his girlfriend, Grit, were so unbelievable to work with! They came out from Vancouver (having only spoken on the phone previously to meeting them) and it felt like we had known eachother so well already! They fit in so well- have great personalities and are soooo talented! They work as a great team- she assists him in photography, although her true talent is hair- she did me and my bridal party's hair and did a fabulous job. They came down and shot the welcome dinner, the wedding day, and a trash the dress session the following day. I am attaching a few of my favorites, but he has a lot more posted on his blog (and even more on Grit's) if you are interested.

Wedding was on the beach at The Grand Mayan Resort in Acapulco. We had 120 guests. 60 flew out from the States, and FI had about another 60 family members who live there.

 

 

 

 

 

The following day, we took a bus (owned by FI's uncle!) and went into town with about 20 of our guests. We stopped at a small town, and 2 beaches and took pictures. All of our guests had a great time- it was awesome!

Great pictures! I love how your photographer put you into some casual scenarios (the market, bus, etc. Love it! And I love the one with all your guests but they are so caually dressed and you both are in your wedding attire.

Haha!!! I didn't catch that either... it is WEIRD!!! OK, so my DH has family out there now- and it was his uncle's cool bus we took the following day. My DH... no longer FI! : )
