Congrats! My Aunt just went through this as well. She is widowed and has 2 kids, her Fi has 3 kids from prev relationship. She really wanted to do a DW and just have an awesome family vacay - well his ex wife put an end to that. She actually did say 'yes' but only if they pay $5000 for each permission letter for the 3 kids! Needless to say they are no longer having a DW :( some people are so selfish!
