Need Advice- Should I change location to cater to a select set of guests?

I completely understand how you feel and went through the same thing when deciding on a resort. We also have no kids and didnt want to be at a kid friendly resort the whole time, but I have several cousins that are 14ish and my mom couldnt imagine them not being invited. We decided to do our wedding at a kid friendly resort, then transfer to a separate- adults only- resort for our honeymoon.

 

This way we could invite the kids, but still have our romantic dinners on the beach. And by the way, my aunt and uncle with the underage kids probably arent coming anyway, although i made the acommodations for them.

 

In the end I find that there are always going to be issues no matter how hard you try to rectify them. I personally would not change your resort if you have it all booked! However, if no guests have booked and you can transfer for a kids resort for the ceremony only....it could be best of both worlds!
