We had a beautiful wedding in Cancun, Mexico on February 8, 2011.  It was just the two of us - we are having a big reception in Seattle in 2 weeks.  I will post more later, but I have only raves about the Leblanc resort and the complimentary wedding there.  It was magical and all I ever dreamed it to be!  The best way to see the pictures is to visit our wedding website at www.shark2011.com and click on the Photos section on the right.  Enjoy!  -shawn

Hi Pazzesca,

 

We got the resort photographer, and we were very happy with the results.  We got the 62 picture package ($600) and added the CD with all the pics ($400).  We had the $1500 vacation credit special, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that we could use $600 towards the photography!  My wedding was actually almost totally free!!!  I spent $89 & $8 to upgrade the bouquet and the boutonniere, the photos, and the $300 administrative/civil charge, and that was it!  I got my hair, makeup, and mani/pedi done and the rates were totally reasonable, I think it was $125 for hair and makeup; maybe $55 for mani/pedi...and I got to use the vacation credits towards that and also a couples massage!  I was a very low maintenance bride because it was just the two of us though, and I didn't have to worry about a wedding party or reception.  (We are having a reception in Seattle for 175 on March 6th so I am madly planning the last details for that now.)  I would love to answer any questions you have about Le Blanc and the wedding, feel free to PM me your email address.  I was incredibly happy with how everything turned out, and I didn't have to worry about anything!  Best, Shawn.

As I was searching through my photographer's slide shows, I found one for Le Blanc! WOW what a beautiful resort!! The pools, the beach, the rooms...GORGEOUS! I might have to honeymoon there! I wrote a review for Elizabeth Medina our photographer on here. However, I'm SO bad with this site! I thought the le blanc girls might want to see the different beautiful sites for photos for your up coming weddings! Good luck to you all!!!!  Enjoy every minute of it! With 10 days left till my wedding and 7 days until i travel to Le Blanc i am excited and stressed at the same time!!  I found out yesterday that there is someone getting married the day before me, lol!  i am so curious to know if she is a BDW bride!!

 

So if you are fess up so we can maybe meet up!!  Is the Le Blanc bride who is getting married on May 13th here?!

Pazzesca -  I'm a 2012 Le Blanc Bride and I just did a site visit this weekend with LeBlanc and it was lovely!  You are going to love it!!

Hi Ladies!

 

My name is Nicole and I've been posting on another message board for a different resort for my wedding on July 14, 2012. But i watched a wedding at the Le Blanc resort on TV and i feel in love! We were in Cancun in January and did a site visit at several hotels but Le Blanc wasn't on my list! .

 

I'm completely torn between the two resorts! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! BTW: the other resort is EPM (Excellence Playa Mujeres)
