Hello all! I am on the hunt for a beachy ring bearer pillow. I have seen some super cute ones, but don't really want to pay $35-$40 for something that will only be used once for 2 minutes. Does anyone have one that they would be willing to sell. I have seen some with starfish attached & I have also seen some with some aqua ribbon around it that would also work with our colors. I ordered this one yesterday. It comes in white with white starfish (as pictured) and ivory with the more natural looking starfish.

Have you thought about using a shell or large white starfish with a ribbon matching your colors? I'm going to use a large white starfish with a navy ribbon on it and got a starfish today at Christmas Tree Shop, I had to buy a lot of them but it was cheaper for a few of them than for one at some other stores, if you have one near you, you should stop by. I think they had large shells too.

Thanks for the ideas guys; I will check them out. Oh, one last thing, what exactly is the Christmas Tree Store Never heard of it. I think there might be one about 1 1/2 hours away, just wondered if it was worth the drive.

Sorry I haven't been on the boards in a couple of days - it is a store with cheap but cute decorations, things to decorate a house, some housewares, some photo frames and kids toys. I don't know if it is worth an 1 1/2 drive but they have great deals, so maybe if you are out that way for something else you could stop by.

There are some outlet malls up that way, so maybe I could just stop there while I'm in the area I love outlet malls, so that would constitute a trip up north I would say!!!

I used a starfish that I bought at Michael's Craft store and just tied my rings on with ribbon, it was a very inexpensive route I am at work so I can't upload a picture but the first picture in my slideshow shows it, the link is in my siggy. Some people also buy a large shell, put some sand in it and lay the rings in the sand which also looks really pretty.

I love your starfish (pink is our color, so it would work perfectly). Now I have to just persude our son (the ring bearer) to carry the starfish instead of the pillow (he is adamant that he wants a pillow - how funny is that?) Thanks for all the suggestions!!
