New!! Mexico wedding at Grand Oasis in Cancun...

Hi Everyone!

I have been looking around the forums for awhile and decided it was finally time to post and take advantage of everyones ideas! I am just starting to try to plan a destination wedding... We don't have alot of money and this just seems the best way to get married and still make it special! My boyfriend and I stayed at the Grand Oasis in Cancun in Nov 2007 and loved it... From what I read they will provide a complimentary wedding service with a certain amount of rooms rented... does anyone have any experience with the Grand Oasis and having a wedding there? I know it isn't the best place around, but like I said money is definitely an issue but we also went on our first vacation together there and really did love it! I'm just a little nervous... does free wedding=nightmare?! haha... we saw them setting up for a couple when we were there, and it looked beautiful! Thanks in advance to anyone that can help:)

Welcome to the boards! I've stayed at the Oasis last year.. the grounds are very pretty. There's another bride on here that got married in August at the Oasis (Krystan I believe her name is) Do a search of her review so you can get an idea.
