Did you ever find out any information about Sound Illusion? Or do you have any other DJ companies you recommend?

 

I'm having my wedding at the Rockhouse and they provide pricing for one. But since the DJ can really make a party great, I want to ensure I'm getting a good one.

I have only heard good things about Sound Illusion. I can't seem to get a set price per hour. They first quoted me $275/hr but another bride used them and paid $200/hr.

yay this is good to hear that they are good! just got the info from my wedding coordinator and it appears that is who we are using....Has any1 used them before?

Another great Dj is Kevan Stewart, from JA Wedding Dj, his rate is $150 an hour, he also has a website www.jaweddingdj.com I used him for our wedding and he was great.

Hi there- I'm getting married at Moon Dance Villas in July 2011 and am looking into DJs. Did any of you ladies hear the DJs you used perform before hand or did you sort of just roll the dice?

my daughter was married at MDV this past September and the DJ, Sounds Unlimited did a great job! They kept the party going! Very accommodating and we were able to meet with them the day before the wedding to discuss our concerns and expectations.

I got an email from Sound Illusion right away. However, it seems like I won't be able to get any pricing information unless I go through Oneika. Did you encounter the same thing?

 

My FI and I are planning on going to visit in January and hope to meet with some DJs as well as other vendors (florist, baker, etc.). Did you/your daughter do something similar? Otherwise, I just won't know how to choose. Any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated.
