That is very cool. I also saw some sets that have lids you can put on - wonder if you could stuff something on top and seal it up for the trip home!

I'm going to order one. It's perfect. No worries about sand being all over your luggage and no worries about it opening and ruining the 'this is exactly the way it was poured during our ceremony' look.

So with the hour glass one the sand doesn't move from it's original pour

we too are having the sand ceremony, to get them home I have made a cork to fit in the bottle to hold the sand still. I will also carry the sand on the plane to get it home. I am hoping this works. Fingers crossed

Well it works like a regular hourglass. I just didnt want to deal with keeping the sand nice while traveling and i loved the hourglass idea.
