Where to put teenagers?

Recommended Posts

I am considering doing a teenager table, are there some young adults who are a little immature? or even some other children who would be so excited to sit with teenagers?

I thought about that, but I wanted them to sit with Gavin's parents. I don't want my FILs to have to deal with it.

If I only had 2 more kids it would be perfect. Anyone want to donate?!?! smile78.gif

This idea kind of makes sense to me---- he'll be more inclined toward appropriate behavior with his parents sitting there listening and figuring out what discipline to dole out if he misbehaves! :) I also think the flip side is that most parents really do feel their children's behavior is an extension/reflection on them, so they are more likely to keep them in line in public. The only time I see an exception to this is in toxic relationships...

My teenagers are girls, they are a whole lot different than boys.

Put him at a table where he might actually be a little shy, say if there are any teenage girls he's never met, that might intimidate him enough to behave. If not I think you should just split the teenagers up and scattter them at different tables, maybe two and two. Talk to him and tell him how important this day is to you, he may surprise you, and be the perfect little gentleman. Another option can you make him responsible for something, give him a camera and ask him to take pictures, run the music, help the guests find their seats. Keep him busy, make him feel important, and I think you will find he steps up and does you proud.
