Hello, my name is Chris and I'm planning a destination wedding for 8/10/2009 to Maui! We'll be having the ceremony and reception at The Plantation House in Kapalua. We're staying for the week and our family and friends are flying in from both the East and West coasts of the US. After that week when all our loved ones head home we'll be honeymooning in Kuai through the following week :)

Congrats and welcome, Chris!

 

Sounds like you all will have a really beautiful wedding. Make sure you go on a helicopter tour of Kauai. My wife and I did after I photographed a wedding in Kauai, and it was a great way to see the exceptional scenery of the island, and also a lot of fun!
