I think if you cancel your wedding right now you'll be making a mistake. You still have 3 weeks. I agree with your TA to wait and let this fizzle out. The swine flu is not isolated to Mexico anymore and it didn't originate in Riviera Maya anyway. You have just as good of chance catching it as you do in Ohio at the moment. Just my opinion, but I would wait it out a bit longer.

I am in the same boat!

My wedding was planned for May 28th at Dreams Los Cabos.

I am in complete and utter shock over this....

I honestly think the media has gotten ahold of this and completely blown it up.

I agree with JHarwood...that we can get it just as easily at home now, so I don't understand how travel cancellations are really going to stop the spread.

I send you the greatest of condolences....

As difficult as this is right now, just remember that there is a great support network on this board, and we will get through this!

We WILL marry our men, a bit later than planned, but the vows will remain just as special.
