Do you know what flower this is?

I just found this pic. I really like the flower, but don't know what it is. Any flower experts out there?

I really wanted to do roses, bright, deep pink ones, but I'm afraid that they're not going to be what I want. I really want to ask claudia to have the florist send me a picture of the colors of pink roses she has.

 

Or maybe just pictures of all bright pink flowers, then I can make my decision!

You're right, they do...which would explain why I am so drawn to them. I love peonies...and would love to have them for my wedding...but I've heard that you can get them in Mexico. So for that reason...I'm hoping they're something else

Yes, I'm still on the hunt. I've e-mailed Claudia...I want to know what florist Dreams work with (since we can't use outside vendors). I guess I'd just rather communicate directly (I'm picturing the game "telephone"... the message changes more and more with each additional person that the information has to pass through). Plus I think I might get better prices. Let me know if you get any pics of all the bright pink flowers

LOL, telephone is the perfect description for this! The story changes quite a bit by the time we get an answer, haha!

Yes, maybe I'll send her a quick message tonight or tomorrow and try to find out if the florist has pictures of the bright pink flowers that they have. I'm so paranoid that I'm going to end up with flowers that aren't the right color!

Very pretty! I think the flowers in the your pic are poppy flowers. They do look very similar to peonies which will be my bouquet. I have posted a pic of similar to my bouquet so you could compare the 2 flowers.

Denise, you know you're right the first pic does look like poppies, but I didn't know that there were pink poppies, I only picture orange ones. But I thought the first pic didn't look full enough like the peonies, but they look so similar.

Hey Jill,

 

Come to think of it, I have never seen pink poppies either...only orange and purple. I actually bought some peonies ($15 for 3 stems at Whole Foods-YIKES) earlier today to experiment with my AHR centerpieces and now studying them very closely to compare Susan's pic

BTW-did you happen to notice any cube or cylinder vases while you were at the XMAS TREE shop? I am going there tomorrow to check it out.
