Grand riviera brides who have wedding pictures or info on beach reception

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone I am getting married November 9/2009 at the Grand Riviera Princess and have not seen any pictures or heard any feedback on the beach reception. Any brides or future brides please respond if you have anything that you can share! We have decided on the renewal of vows as we heard it is the same as a symbolic minus the cake. We want to spend the extra money on a beach reception with dancefloor band etc. Hope to hear from some of you. smile03.gif

Hello there! I shot a wedding at the Grand Sunset Princess in December and they had a beach reception. These two resorts share the same beach so I would imagine it would be all the same. There was no dance floor, everyone just dances in the sand in their barefeet and had soooooooo much fun!! They had a DJ that played music that they had pre-chosen (I think) as it was mostly country music and beachy songs. Everyone had a blast and I think that a beach reception is well worth it! It was in the middle of the beach but completely private as there were no other wedding receptions around for as far as I could see. You can see all of the pictures here at Robyn Louise Photography Shopping Cart - BC, Canada click on the Renee and Danny gallery and then on the reception part of the gallery to see that specifically. It was a wonderful event and my favourite wedding thus far. I cant wait to go back again next April! Let me know if you have any questions as I would be happy to help or tell you anything else that I know!

=)

Hi Annie!

Glad the pictures helped! There was no dance floor, everyone just danced in the middle of the circle of tables on the sane in barefeet...doesnt get any cooler than that in my opnion =) Each table had candles, so you could see what you were eating.. and I dont think that the spotlights took away from the mood that much :P

Hope this helps :)
