Newbie - trying to have a wedding in Riviera Maya

Hi!

 

My name is Zuzel, and I'm trying to have a wedding in Riviera Maya, but i'm having a hard time picking a place! I want to have my wedding on Sept 26, 2009 (although, i'm really worried about hurricane season!!!).

 

Does anyone have any thoughts or have gotten married there? any suggestions would be appreciated!

first of all... !!!... there is a drop down menu at the bottom of every page on the right hand corner... you will be able to find a thread dedicated to the riviera maya and many people write about their experiences and plans... check that out and im sure that will help you make some decisions!!!.. good luck with your planning and welcome to the site

Welcome to the forum! If you browse through the Riviera Maya thread you will find SO much information about the resorts that are great for weddings! We are getting married in Nov. at Moon Palace and this forum is what helped us make up our mind!

Congratulations and welcome!!! You'll find plenty of info on here. There are several of us getting married during hurricane season. Theres definitely a risk but its your choice. My suggestion for trying to find the RIGHT place: check out the wedding reviews section! All new brides write up a NICE review w/ pics of their wedding grading everything. This may really help you put together some pros and cons of each place!
