Newbie!! Still undecided...help!!

Hello everyone! I am a "newbie" to this forum and I am looking forward to talking to other brides about their weddings! My username is anbrkl2010 and I do not have a wedding date yet, but I am looking at February 2010 in either Punta Cana or Cabo San Lucas.

 

Any advice or suggestions for the following resorts would be awesome!

 

I have narrowed it down to three resorts (maybe 4) in Punta Cana...

 

Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa

Melia Caribe Tropical

Riu Palace Punta Cana

Moon Palace Punta Cana (Brand new resort)

 

Cabo San Lucas...

Riu Palace or Dreams Los Cabos

Hello and welcome to the forum. My best advice is to look for forum threads for each of the places you are looking to go. I am getting Married next Jan at one of the Palace Resorts. I liked their wedding packages the best. The package I'm choosing is $1900 and it will accommodate up to 35 guests .. which it looks like I'm going to be right around that number. Congrats and welcome to the forum!! Choosing a location is really difficult IMO, but the best thing I can recommend is to lay out what is a must have or the most important things and go from there. Hopefully that will help you eliminate some choices. And of course, reading through the advice and input of our fab BDW members who have been to those places! Good luck!
