I've been on the forum for a while now, and decided it's finally time to give my fiance props for his awesome proposal!

I was on a business trip to vegas for a week, and he totally caught me off guard when he picked up me up at the airport with roses. He told me that he missed me and the flowers were a welcome home present. He's normally very shy and quiet and never does anything crazy romantic so I took the flowers as a cute gesture and nothing else.

When we got to my apartment, I knew something was up as soon as I opened the door, there were rose petals, our song on repeat, candles, the whole 9 yards....but what I saw next was totally unexpected. A giant posterboard, it had a heart border and stickers around the edges, but there was nothing in the middle. He looked at me a little shaky and said "I know you're tired from your trip to Vegas, but how about 1 last game" and he handed me an envelope.

When I opened it, it was filled with pictures of us from the last 2 years. He told me that step one of the game was to go through the pictures, and that he'd written a different reason why he loved me on each picture. I was crying instantly! After I finally got through reading what was on the back of the pictures, he told me the next step was to velcro them to the poster board, in chronological order.

It took me a while to get my bearings and organize the pictures (in rows of 5) from things we did 2 years ago, to our most recent pics. After I finally finished (with some help), he said "congrats! you win! now there's just one more thing....." and he flipped a switch and a blacklight under the poster board came on.

He'd written in INVISIBLE BLACKLIGHT INK a letter on each picture so it spelled out WILL YOU MARRY ME? By the time I could comprehend, he was on one knee with the ring. A few minutes later a bunch of friends and family came in the door (They'd all been waiting down the street). Definitely one of the best nights of my life (even though i was on 3 hours of sleep from partying in vegas!). An added bonus was that he proposed with my great grandmothers (and namesake) ring, it it's original 1930 Italian setting that he had completely rehabbed.

I am so lucky!!!!!! Just had to share with you my incredible proposal! Hope everyone is enjoying their DW planning!
