Orbitz & Expedia ~ BEWARE!

Is it that these companies have issues with the vacation packages mostly? I've always used Orbitz for my flights only and have never had an issue.

OMG!!!! I am so worried now!!! I recently booked our site visit trip to Jamaica through Orbitz.com for May 2011! I have only booked through Orbitz one time in the past for a hotel and it worked out fine. But this time I have booked a vacation package for 4 through them! We booked it for Memorial week-end which is a holiday week-end too!!! Now I am so worried that our reservations will be messed up!!

This is an old thread so I have to wonder if this information is up-to-date???  I have never had an issue with an online travel site.  My only concern is having those that book through online sites count toward my booking at the resort.
