Not Having TTD Pics Done?

I am getting BD pics done and not doing the TTD. FI will love the BD pics...I hope. I really don't have any use for TTD pics. It just isn't really us either I do think that the other brides pics have turned out beautifully though.

Thats what I was thinking! FI is so serious, I cant even imagine him rolling in sand, water, etc! I really wanted to do the boudoir pics, but havent been able to find the time or the money :.) Maybe we can do a short TTD session since we have on scheduled already.

I think it would have been a blast to do the TTD pics, but we just didn't have the money. We wanted to pay off the wedding as we went and we managed it!

Ditto for the BD shoot. If we'd had an extra couple thousand, I would have done both

Now I'm saving up to do a BD shoot with a preggo belly - hopefully in the summer!

We're going to do a half-TTD. I love the photos, but a lot of them arent us. So no rolling in the sand, but standing on rocks, or sitting on rocks, standing with our feet in water, etc. It's more than just wedding photos, but not full on TTD.

I would have LOVED to do TTD pictures, I just love the "feel" of them. However it just wasn't in our budget. I to this day wish I would have skipped something else and done them, but whats done is done.

 

As long as you stay true to yourself, then I think you'll be happy. If you really don't think it's something you want to do, then don't. :-)

I love love love our TTD pics! For us, the TTD were only an extra $200 on top of the wedding package for an hour of photography and 75 5x7 prints. I didn't realize other people were looking at THOUSANDS more! No wonder it wasn't in the budget. If you can afford it, I think you should do. If your FI isn't in to it - could you just do it alone? There are some beautiful solo pics for many girls who did the TTD....

I didn't even consider it, mainly b/c FI hates having his picture taken more than just about anything. It will be a serious struggle for him to get through our regular wedding photos. He hated having e-pics done but I insisted-- and he really likes how they turned out.

 

I like the look of the TTD shoots but I know it would make FI so unhappy to do them. And now we're leaving for our honeymoon cruise right after the morning-after brunch, so we don't have time for them anyhow. Maybe somewhere down the line we'll do another wedding shoot.

I see alot of threads about TTD. I just wanted to know am I the only one that has no intention on trashing my dress or buy an extra dress to trash?

I'm sure you're not the only one! It wasn't something I even knew about until I joined this forum.
