Cleavage on your wedding day??

Recommended Posts

Another DD girl chiming in. I'm not too big on the bride having tons of cleavage, but that's just me. I know if my dad had to walk me down the beach aisle with my boobs hanging out, we would both be uncomfortable. Lucky for me, I fell in love with a dress that was strapless and just cut straight across, so didn't have to worry about this problem.

Like some of the other girls have mentioned, think about how you'll feel dancing and bending over in it. Will you be constantly adjusting yourself? (I hate when this happens.) Think of the whole day, not just the ceremony.

It's amazing what these seamstresses can do to these dresses though, so if you love it (and it sounds like you do), I think you'll be able to figure something out to make it work for you.

Thanks so much for all your thoughts and suggestions! And thanks too to *becks* and *BachataBride* for the pics! it was a relief to see women with real cleavage wearing "v" cuts (and you both looked fabulous!), since the models who show the dresses are generally pretty small.

funny thing is that i normally have no problem with cleavage and im pretty happy with my breasts, i was just concerned that it may be a big faux-pas for the wedding day.

I won't be able to take pictures until I order it (the salon is very crazy about not taking pictures) but when i do I'll post and maybe I'll get some opinions on whether some "modesty alterations" are required :P

thanks again!

I think if you like your boobs, go ahead and show em! I actually want my dress to show a little more cleavage on my wedding day. As long as they're supported and you feel comfortable, it's no faux-pas. Plus, the girls aren't going to stay up there forever. You might want to savor the times that they do. :-)
