NO Perks from PLesant Holidays as Promised

Recommended Posts

So I had a TA through Triple A who was great to work with for a while but recently left work due to personal/medical issues. Well before she left she failed to update iterniaries for me and all my 32 guests. I had to call Triple A to ask what the heck was going on because of course she never called me to tell what was happening. The only way I found out was because my guests started calling me in a panic because they had not received final paperwork for their trip even though they had all made final payment. Ugh! Talk about stress!!! Triple A immediately assigned a new TA and she followed through with sending final intieraries but I noticed that mine had no added perks which was suppose to be there. Perks were: a resort room credit of $200.00 and an upgrade to a honeymoon suite. When I asked new TA why that was she said that the previous TA never inquired about the perks and that basically "Plesant Holidays", the contracted agency they use, would not add now. I think that is really unfair considering that some guests in my party did receive those perks and new TA did not know why they had. She basically seemed like she was bothered with having to take over a new customer so she really did not even try to ask. Should I called Pleasant myself because I mean I am the Bride. I know $200.00 is not alot but God I think I deserve something for having all those people book. It's making me sad more than mad. I guess I'm just very emotional. Just give me some opinions

I would definitely call the manager and ask ( or demand, if you know what I mean). It is extremely unprofessional that your TA would pick up and leave without notifying you, and then the company would not even attempt to contact you to make alternate arrangements? That is ludicrous to me.

ok, did you do a room block because usually it is written in the contract? also, i am surprised your TA even used pleasant for dreams because they do not have the best dreams rates...i use pleasant alot but never for dreams.

but if it makes you feel better, the $200 resort credit is just ok...most people do not end up using theirs because they break it up like $40 for wine, $20 for this, $50 for romantic dinner...it is not one dollar amount that you can apply how you want.

for your upgrade to honeymoon suite, pm me and i can see what i can do.
