Hi there!

 

My name is Jana. Kevin and I are interested in having our wedding away sometime between February and May 2010.

 

We are very interested in Jamaica but worry about the cost to our guests. Most will be travelling from Calgary and Vancouver. We'd like to have them pay $2000 or less with taxes, if possible.

 

We have never been to a destination wedding, and wonder what the highlights of each destination are. We would like a wonderful beach, good weather, good people, good food and fun activities. Other than that, it's difficult to decide!

 

I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts.

Flights to Mexico are pretty reasonable and they are some new direct flights are opening up especially with WestJet. Another affordable option is to fly with a charter carrier. Typically they are booked for either 1 or 2 weeks.

In terms of Hotels, many have reasonable group rates.
