Activities for Guests

Hey girls~

I thought maybe we could post ideas for activities. Are you setting anything up, or just giving your guests ideas?

Those who have already been to Cabo and experienced various companies, etc. could share their contacts or stories, and those who have done research on various places could share what they've found...

While on our site visit, we did the Canopy Costa Azul tour. It was sooo much fun, but very hot (up in the mountains around noon, maybe not such a great time to go!). Anyway, we have a group of adventure lovers going with us so I am going to email them regarding a group rate once we get a little closer. From the hotel we paid $77 per person including transportation to and from the hotel to the site. They also do a tequila tasting at the end- that was fun. Click here for their website. This website has a discounted price of $69 per person, but I don't know much about them.

The view was amazing

It seems a little scary at first, but we had a blast!

we did alot of group activities...

we did:

  • spa party for the girls
  • deep sea fishing for the boys
  • snorkel/sailing trip (this was really great because everyone could get involved. gma was able to go sailing but did not go in water, etc.)
  • surf day-took them to beginner spot where they could get lessons
  • babs(my sis) organized a ATV day
  • party night

this is what we did on our website to get a headcount for who wanted to do what activity.

Our group has never been to cabo, so they are up for anything! The zipline thing looks fun, and the guys all want to go fishing. Did anyone book these activities online? I would like to get these activities paid for before we leave. Does anyone know if there are any fun things for children?

I'm wondering if I can just invite all my guests to come join us pool/beach side at the Hilton one day... I wonder if the hotel would notice all the outside people wandering in... has anyone done this at the Hilton or other hotels. I think it shouldn't bee too hard since it's not an AI and people would be buying drinks and food all day. Any thoughts?

Ohhh, those sound like so much fun! Who did you use for the deep sea fishing and did they like it? My FI and his brothers and dad want to do that but they have yet to set it up (of course.) Also, who did you use for the snorkel/sailing trip?? That's on my list of things to do.

We are just doing a girls night out on Thursday night. Most of our guests will only be there three or four days and we don't want to force them to do too much wedding/group stuff!

kash, no joke but we had a guest (of steve's) that slept on the beach in a tent in front of dreams and would hang out with us at the pool. maybe if your guests came in via the beach they wouldn't be noticed.
