Please help! Marriott or the Ritz?

Is there a review for the Ritz for the ceremony and the reception? I'm having a difficult time deciding whether to hold both events at either the Marriott or the Ritz. I've seen pictures of both places and they're stunning. My vision is to hold the ceremony on a lush green with the ocean and a mountain behind us with lots of privacy. Which one do you think can provide the most privacy and romantic setting I'm looking for?

I've been to weddings at both locations and I would have to go with the Ritz for privacy. The lawn location at the Marriott is in between the hotel and the beach jogging path so it's not secluded. At the Ritz you'll be totally secluded.

I'm having mine at the Ritz in March next year! I went with them because of many factors... but the top two are AMAZING customer service, and a gorgeous setting that is private and romantic! When we were there, they made it very clear that my wedding would be *my* event, not impeded by other guests at the hotel. I hope you choose them too!

I just honeymooned at the Ritz last month and the resort is GORGEOUS!!! Its also super private. I havent been to the Marriot but the Ritz has what you described!

I think both hotels are great but you have to also keep in mind the location. The marriott is located on the south side of the island, which is generally known for better weather (as if weather could ever be "not good" in Hawaii).
