Can you buy drinks and bring them on the resort? I know catch a falling star allows this..... We have a lot of friends that are big drinkers!!!!!

Yes you can! As a matter of fact, we have about 57 guests and will be stopping at the Hi Lo market on the way to Rockhouse to get lots of liquor!

I don't know if anyone would be able to answer this, but we are planning a large wedding with about 75 people. If you meet their minimums, what is the typical cost to have a wedding here. It looks very beautiful from the online pix on the website and I like that they have a charitable foundation. I know a lot of resorts have hidden fees from what I have researched so I am hoping to get some useful info on this resort. Its the best looking one we have seen so far.

I just returned from my wedding there and there were absolutely no hidden fees. Once you email Inise the WC, she will send you the costs per person for the different dinner packages, and the cost for the dj and/or steel drum band if you want that. There are no set up fees at all- they set up all your decor for free! They don't have a per person open bar but you can set a total amount that you want to pay for your guests to drink, then it'll be a cash bar after that or you can just have a cash bar. You pick your floral package with the florist- floral fantasies, or you can choose to bring your own floral/decor which is what I did. You book your own photographers- they suggest Sungold which I had already booked. To reserve your wedding date is $4000 which goes toward the cost of your guests food total. An additional 20% is added to the food total as there's 10% tax & 10% service charge (gratuity) in Jamaica. For a 3 tiered wedding cake, it's $400, or you can do a 1 tiered cake with a sheet cake, or you can do cupcakes, but I forget the cost for that. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Quick Question: What's this about brining your own alcohol? You mean you can bring your oown alcohol to be served at the wedding?

 

Also, was the champagne for the toast included in your package?
