Must-Haves vs. Don't Cares

Ok since I am not the first now I would like to modify my list because I would like to agree with purrfected's inclusion of FI family. I don't want to be catty but I have been with him for so many years (over 20) and they have never been very nice. And as far as stiffness goes girls I am sure you all agree we could all do without that until our wedding night!!

My must haves:

 

- my closest family and friends

- a moment with my parents before we head to the chapel

- a moment for FH and I to be alone after the ceremony to take in the fact that we're actually married

- at least one amazing wedding photo taken

- good food

- plenty of drinks

- lots of laughter

- waterproof makeup

 

Things I could do without:

 

- a stunning bouquet

- centerpieces

- aisle/table runners

- chapel decorations

- identically dressed bridal party

YAY!! I'm loving everyone's lists. As for the in laws, I've been w/ FI since 2001 and I feel like I'm only now (meaning 2 weeks ago) getting to know them.

 

Must Have -

- Dancing and laughter!
