off-white dress help

Hi everyone. I am getting married in less than two weeks in playa del carmen. I leave in just over a week. My fiance didn't get his outfit until a few days ago. He bought a white shortsleave shirt and is going to get linen khaki pants. The woman at the Tommy Bahama store said if my dress is off-white, his white shirt would make my dress look dirty. I think it will look fine - but now Im getting worried. Any advice??

IMHO, I really don't think it matters. I've seen plenty of pictures with off-white dresses with grooms and GM in white... it's never crossed my mind that the bride's dress looked dirty. I wouldn't stress over it!

It won't make you look dirty, it will make his shirt look white and your dress look off-white like they are. . . so what? That woman just had her own vision of weddings that doesn't apply to you. I bet you she was single too, lol. The people who try to give me dumb advice like that are. You'll look fine )

my dress is ivory and paul's shirt is white - i am not worried - and i think that's pretty common! i bet you'll look great - don't worry about it!

OMG thats the most ridiculous thing I've heard, people just love to bring people down a few notches when they are obviously happy, so ignore her!!!

My dress is ivory, Everton shirt is white, so is my daughters dress, and I think everything looks beautiful, and you will be beautiful also!

I think you'll look perfectly fine. Plus, you'll be outside in the sun, so I don't think your off-white will be noticable.
