Brown suit conspiracy!

Our colors are pool blue and chocolate brown. FI wants to wear a brown suit with a blue tie, which I think will look fantastic. We have been everywhere (Macy's, Nordstrom, Men's Warehouse) and they have NO brown suits. What is this? I feel like we are looking for a lime green suit or something. They seem to have the color online, but FI is afraid to order one online. So weird! I thought brown was a popular color.

I have the same colors as you! FI found a great brown suit at Bachrach.

You should try to go off the beaten paths... These stores only have very classic suits that will be to the taste of the majority.

When we were looking for DH's suits, we went to stores advertising themselves as selling different suits. And once there, we found not only lime green linen suits (I swear - I laughed when I read your post), but also the pink suit that he's going to wear...

I found this store by looking the stores selling the brand Stacy Adams. Stacy Adams are mainly zoot suits. But the store had seersucker, linen, and a lot of other brands.

Of course I don't know Chicago so I cannot help you avoiding the "hood", but try and have a look at it ! Select "suits" in your search, and then you can call the stores before actually going and ask them if they have brown suits.
