I voted for Benton. I've never heard it, but really really love it!

I don't think I ever heard of Benton before, and Ben is cute, so I picked that. Nothing against Ethan, but if it's that super-common, I wouldn't pick it.

Benton is really cute and unique! But I do think you should never go away from your first instinct!

As the others said though, maybe it will be clearer once you see him! Sometimes that's really the decision maker for people.

I picked Benton! I've never heard of it and I LOVE uncommon names. I think its cute for a little boy but also mature enough for an adult... does that make sense?

Another option is to wait until he's born - maybe that first glance will make you feel stronger about one name than the other... like "oh yeah... he definitely suits Ethan"?

I picked Benton. I like uncommon different unique names. Plus just for me I could never name my kid Ethan, I've known a couple and they were D-bags and a few kids i've known named ethan were little $hitheads. When we picked names it couldn't be a name of someone we knew unless they were AMAZING people, or family. Otherwise I could always come up w/ something negative about that name.

oh, i also agree w/ a few of the other girls. Maybe wait and see him. I personally think as soon as you see your child you'll know their name! Or maybe even wait until the next day to kind of see if he has any personality that will make you think one way or the other! Yay congratulations he'll be here so soon!

I voted for Ethan. But the more I think about it I like the way Benton Ethan sounds.....why not use both names?
