Hi all

 

I am a newbie - just getting the planning in the works for a Bali or Langkawi destination wedding.

 

My mind is working overtime already and I have been thinking about the details. I have been thinking about buying locally for a number of items, ie, loose flowers for table settings, fans for gifts, and then to bring over with me other things where I can, ie, menu's and place cards, welcome gifts, etc. I know the venue will offer to do the basics but I really want to take control and give it a personal touch.

 

Of course I feel I am limited in transporting votives and breakables but was wondering if the majority of brides shop locally at the destination or if you import items from home?
