Floral arch for July beach ceremony in MX

We would like to have a floral arch for our beach ceremony this July in Riviera Maya.

 

Not sure if this is worthwhile with the July heat. Would the flowers just wilt?

 

Has anyone used a floral arch for a summer wedding on the beach?

It would depend on the type of flowers you pick. Some flowers hold up in heat better than others. I think orchids, lilies and dahlias are supposed to hold up best.

Hydrangeas are very thirsty flowers and will not hold up. Roses are good, dendrobium orchids, lillies are good too. A lot of the tropical flowers hold up amazingly.
