Custom Linen Suits $99!

Just to update all of our wedding party plus our fathers have now ordered and received their suits.  Everyone is pleased them!  My FIL ordered a vest and my Father ordered Italian linen (a bit more $) which had more options for colour.  We had a bit of a hiccup with one GM suit - they sent a `partial shipment`for him to try on and then email any changes...his jacket was tight through the shoulders (looks like it was an error on his measurements from this end, not theirs).  Long story short, Studio Suits sent an alteration guide for a seamstress to let his jacket out a bit.  That hasn`t happened yet but I think it should be fine, hopefully!  We didn`t think to get any photos of the suits on the men but I`ll be sure to post photos after our wedding (in less than 2 months!!).

 

Oh and Canadian brides - we ordered all these suits at once (4 for GM + 2 for fathers) and were only charged I think $65 bucks for duty (on about $1k worth of suits) so if you can bundled orders you will definitely save on duty compared to shipping individually.

Just finished ordering our suit! Thanks to everyone for the information! Will post pics when it arrives. Hopefully we did all of the measurements correctly! **Fingers crossed!**

We ordered my fiance's suit last week. So far we are really impressed with the company. We messed up one of the measurements (forgot to double the pant leg opening) and they emailed us right away to let us know something didn't look right. Will update on here once we receive the suit.

How did you decide on the trouser fit options?? Does anyone know what they all look like? If you email Studio Suits, they'll give you a description of the fit types.

Also, we are going to do the measurements ourselves...but FI doesn't have a suit jacket that he owns (he's always just rented)...so we're not sure how to go about doing the measurements when they suggest using a jacket he already owns. Suggestions? Did anyone else run into this? What did you do? Sorry, we used a seamstress to measure... but she didn't measure over a jacket or anything.

Got an email yesterday saying the suit has been shipped and should be here within 4-7 days. Pretty fast, I'll post again when it arrives. Fingers crossed it fits perfect...

I am getting ready to order samples and have a question-- I'm ordering samples of the tropical linen and pure irish linen.  Do these come with color swatches, or do you have to order those separately? Shipping is a bit steep ($13) so I want to make sure I get all ordered in one shot.  Thanks!!

We ordered our swatches a month ago or so. If you order a particular type of fabric swatch, they send you all the colors that come in that fabric. Hope this helps!
