Ok, this is only in my honest and personal opinion... I was going to to daily excursions too! I loved the idea and thought of a bunch of ideas and whomever signed up, that's great, whomever didn't - oh well! Then I went on a vacation to Mexico at an all-inclusive a few months ago for someone's wedding... honestly, when they scheduled group things for us to do not many of us wanted to go. It was so nice to just enjoy the beach. We went to a few group things and my immediate family that I went with and I just wanted to go and do our own thing. And as the bride, I learned that I will want that too... I love all of the guests that will be going, but some down time before the wedding WILL be needed! I don't want to have to worry about getting up every morning to do excursions I planned and have to attend because I'm the host - I want to enjoy my time there too. We'll do one or two during the week, but that's it. Most people are going for their own vacations and don't want to feel obligated to tag along with other groups, but since it's for the bride they might feel obligated to go. I'm just sharing this because I kind of stumbled on to this realization and am sort of happy that I did! I think daily excursions would be a blast - it would be fun either way... I just know I am going to want to relax! You need to pamper yourself too!!!

Welcome and congratulations! You're going to be in heavan as this forum in itself helps your plans come together. I joined about 3 or so weeks ago and I've been able to get a bunch of great ideas (eg. Welcome dinner which is economical option at all-inclusive resorts like Dreams, OOT (out of town) bag for the guests and providing some cute/fun useful doo dads, budget ideas, vendor recommendations, etc...). Heck, I just learned (3 or so posts up) that it's not, in fact, the best idea to schedule a bunch of activities for your guests and you to do together. Good luck with the planning!
