STD questions

I am trying to be a thrifty bride and I would like to make my own STD's by using a template or something of the sort. I have looked at Vista Print but I really don't understand how it works. My wedding colors are pink and brown and I would like to incorporate something beachy, like a starfish design or a seashell design. Can someone help me with how I can do this for fairly cheap?

Vistaprint lets you download a template if you have adobe but if you are like me and don't have one then just change the dimensions of a word doc to the same size as what you are making, so if you wanted to make them using the small magnets then the doc size after it is trimmed would be 3.43" x 1.93" However pink and brown are good colors, I've seen one of their small magnets that is half pink and half brown, it might have a different pic in it but if you hit advanced editing and then click on the image you don't want, hit replace image and then search their image library you can search shell or starfish and then pick the one you like, with this method you don't have to upload one of your own images which would cost extra. I used vista print as well. Definitely not the most user friendly, but was MUCH cheaper than other sites I saw. We are getting married in Cabo and I used google images to find pics that way. For 50 magnets it cost me about $40 and that included shipping and the charge for uploading a template. For those other vista print users, what did you attach your STD to for mailing?

I didn't use it but I have seen that others attached them to a coordinating VP postcard and I think that looks cute

I was thinking of using them as well, but didnt quite get how it worked!
