Wait for papers to change my name??

Hello Everyone,

I just got married in Punta Cana, DR on March 19th. I know that I will have to wait about 3 months to receive my legal paperwork, but I was wondering if I can start writing and using my new name before I get this paperworkhuh.gif I live in Nova Scotia, Canada.

I got married in Puerto Plata, DR in January. We got our MC in about a month, so you may not have to wait that long! We have been slackers & still haven't gotten it translated, so I still haven't changed anything over. Most places will require your legal MC in order to change your name - I would be cautious of using it before it's official. I have changed my facebook account & my email addy though, but that's it!
