Seating Dilemna

Recommended Posts

Thing is only 2 of the 12 are bringing dates, the others are bringing friends who could afford to share a package with them. So it's not like they're couples. I was thinking of putting all those people together, lol, but I hear what you are saying.

I thought of no seating chart but didn't want the akward situation of asking someone to move down if their freshman year college roomate whom I've never met sat closer to me than my parents or family. Hmm...still not sure here, no seating chart would be wayyyy easier though. Maybe I'll do that and see what happens.

did you get a seating layout from Nicole, or how do you know how your tables will be layed out?
Ann I didn't get a layout from Nicole but that's what I want and you know how flexible she is, anything goes. At our site inspection a few days before the wedding we are going to solidify our decisions once we see the layout and what would work at that time. If you aren't doing a site visit I guess you should consider the space & size of your guest list and talk to her asap to see what your options are.

I was considering doing a bunch of 4-6 people tables like another LC bride here did (arrrgh I cannot remember her name right now but she had a pretty red theme). For us I think that people would be too spread out and I wanted us all kind of at one table. Plus I come from a big Italian family where we are used to all eating and talking and shouting at one big table! LOL!!

i'm not doing a site visit - but she did a mock up for me of what my tables may look like. i thought about waiting - but then how do you assign the table #s - don't you have to pre-print some stuff?

i may just do a couple tables up front for immediate family - then let the rest sit where they want!
