RIU Brides

Hello ladies, I am tossing up the RIU Yucatan or Playacar for my DW. Would love the Palace but I think it will be a bit tooo pricey for our guests. Any information you can pass along on either resort/wedding would be a great help...and any prices for past trips there too. We have a group of approx 50 leaving from winnipeg and are planning a Feb 2010 wedding.

Hello there. My fiance and I have just booked the Riu Yucatan for our July 2010 wedding. We stayed at the Yucatan a few years ago and we were very happy with the resort. I have stayed at the Palace-which is incredible but as you said price is a factor for our guests so we have opted for the second best-Yucatan.
