Riu Santa Fe

Recommended Posts

My understanding is that the Santa Fe is a "hotel" class - meaning that if you book and stay at the Palace, you can go to the Santa Fe and use their ammenities, but if you book and stay at the Santa Fe, you can not use the ammenities at the Palace...

I want to say that it opens this fall, but I am not 100% positive. Did you check the RIU website?

Online all it says is that it will open this winter I think, but i have read different stuff saying it will be open for my wedding (october 24) and others that said it wont. I am glad at least that if it is opening in Nov - all the exterior loud construction should be completed. It would be nice to have the addtional dining options etc. Since it will be brand new - although they list there night club as club pancho === isn;t that the one at Riu Palace?

My TA told me the grand opening of the Santa Fe is November 9, 2007. I'm unsure where she got this info. She also mentioned that if our group was offered an upgrade to go to this resort I should take it. Now that confuses me because as she said it would be nice to have new beds etc., but that I could still use the restaurants etc at the Palace. Sounds like all have some conflicting info.

I would really like to know...I saw somewhere that the Grand Opening was scheduled for November-- but was hoping that perhaps it would be opening earlier without the flourish...it would be nice to have access to additional restaurants etc...hmmm...some day we might find out...lol
