Keeping a veil comb in short hair.

Recommended Posts

So I found this while looking for ways to keep a veil in my short and baby fine hair and had to share it.

Securing the Bridal Veil Comb

I tried it this afternoon in my hair and it stayed wonderfully! smile29.gif I didn't even have any texture cream or really any styling done at all. Did the jump up and down like a goofball test and it did not budge. I am so pleased because I like the look of a veil further back on the head and that is tough w/ short pixie hair.

Hope this helps my fellow short hair brides.

Thanks for that, my usual hairstyle of choice is messy pixie but im in the process of growing it for the wedding.....mainly because I have found zero inspiration for any pretty styles shorter than shoulder length. I want to look like a "BRIDE" but imagine once the wedding is over i'll be straight to the hairdressers for the crop!

I'd be interested to see any inspiration you may have for how you will wear your pixie hair.

I have to admit I caved a to the "grow it for the wedding" somewhat. I had decided last year after much debate whether to grow or not to stay pretty short because every time I grow it ends up driving me crazy and I have to cut. I am just a short hair girl

That being said I have been wearing sort of a modified pixie (think kate gosselin, or Kiera Knightly's character in "Domino" Short in back with long bangs/front layers. Right now I am letting the spikey hair in back get a little longer if only to help secure my veil, since I REALLY want a veil.

So far no real trial done but I am thinking side swept bangs w/ a jewel embellished clip or a cute headband. I will def. put pics up later this summer when I have my actual hair trial.
